cotton candy

I know I've mentioned this before but... I'm really into pink and blue pastel tones this season. When I see this skirt I see cotton candy. It's really hard not to want to eat it.

The skirt and sunglasses I'm wearing are by Blackfive, an online store with really good quality and trendy clothing items. At first, I didn't know what to expect when I saw this skirt on their website. I thought it was too pretty for its price, and wondered if it would be one of those products that shows a certain way on pictures and is completely different in person (which has happened to me several times with other online stores). The skirt was surprisingly really well-made, and the material feels as soft as cotton candy!

The fabric is strong enough to last you for years, but soft enough to want to sleep in it (serious). I also really like its length. I love that it is longer in the back and shorter in the front. I have a little bit of a problem with ordering skirts and dresses online. They are sometimes so short on me that I have to keep pulling them down when I walk.

If you're form the U.S. and are looking for what to wear on the 4th of July, check out The Classic Brand. They have everything you need for Independence day. Some of my favorites are: shorts (thesethese and these), tanks (this and this), this sweater, and this vest

You can also pair your 4th of July outfit with these American Girl Hair Ties by Kitsch (Use code: FIREWORK for 20% off)!

I hope you found this post helpful! I should have shared those 4th of July ideas on my last post, but it's still not too late!

first days of summer

Hi guys!

A lot of really important events have been going on in my life, so I hadn't been able to shoot or post. Now that things are almost back to normal, I'll be able to post more. I have so many things to show you, it's overwhelming.

I am over the top excited to post about this dress from AKA. I have been following AKA for a while now and am obsessed with their summer dresses, and their whole summer collection (which you can view here). You'll see everything from spaghetti straps, to low/open backs, to crop tops and high waisted skirts. So, everything you can imagine in the perfect summer wardrobe, they have.

This dress is so light, it keeps you fresh during a warm summer day, and it's perfect for transitioning from day to night.

I thought this necklace by Kitsch was the cherry on top to this outfit. It's really simple, but still adds a statement to any look. I wear it all the time. Check out their site, they have great accessories at affordable prices. These stackable rings are only $9!

I missed you guys!

How have your first days of summer been? Are you doing anything exciting?
