Dolls Kill + Uber contest

Hi guys!

I am really excited about today's post because the romper I'm wearing is from Dolls Kill, an online store I love love love!

Dolls Kill is my destination whenever I'm looking for something extremely cool that not just anyone would have. If you don't know what I mean by that, just take a quick look at their Bags and Belts section (here).

I'm warning you, it's really easy to get distracted and spend hours looking through their website

Yeah, you could say I was really happy that day. I was just dancing and jumping around for no reason.

If you're a fashion and a food lover and live in the Boston area, Uber is partnering up with Ideeli and Stella to give a rider (and 5 friends) a chance to win $300 credit to shop at Ideeli, a $300 gift card for a lavish dinner at Stella, and their own private UberSUV driver for the night to cruise around Boston in for an unforgettable night out.

To participate in this contest:
 - Download the Uber app and use the code "InstantMilk" or sign up using my link - https://www.uber.com/go/InstantMilk. You will also get $30 off your first ride when using my code/link. This pretty much means a FREE Uber ride!

Are you new to Uber?

Uber is an iPhone/Android/Blackberry app that allows you to request a ride at the tap of a button and summons a professional driver to your side within minutes. There’s no need to worry about handling cash. Your fare is automatically billed to your credit card on file and there's no need to tip.
I take Uber a few times a week. It's much better than taking a taxi.
I'm an Uber addict!

Let me know what you guys think about this look and if you've tried Uber before:)!

flamingoes

I once met someone who thought flamingoes were magical creatures that only existed in fairy tales (kind of like unicorns). If you really think about it, they look very surreal. How can a creature be so pretty? If you see them in a flock they look like pink cotton candy (yes, I know, I've been craving cotton candy these days).

Now, imagine how beautiful flamingoes would be if instead of feathers, they grew flowers. Actually, you don't really have to imagine that. You can just see it on the tank top I'm wearing on this post. This Flamingo Ruffle Tank is from The Classic Brand.

Summer in Boston is so hot I feel like wearing tank tops and swimsuits most days. I wish I could walk around the city wearing a swimsuit top and feel comfortable. But, since I can't really do that, I just wear the two of them together.

I love this look because it's so casual and laid back. Perfect for a good walk or weekend adventures, specially on a really hot summer day.

If you like wearing tanks during the summer, but hate looking too plain, check out The Classic Brand website. They have good alternatives.

What do you usually wear in summer?

flag

So, 4th of July festivities will happen today in Boston. Thanks Arthur!

The Boston Pops show and fireworks have been moved to today, which means I am wearing my 4th of July shirt NOW. I had to run, take these pictures, and upload them so that you could see my outfit before I leave the house. And maybe get some outfit ideas for tomorrow if you're not in this area of the country.

cotton candy

I know I've mentioned this before but... I'm really into pink and blue pastel tones this season. When I see this skirt I see cotton candy. It's really hard not to want to eat it.

The skirt and sunglasses I'm wearing are by Blackfive, an online store with really good quality and trendy clothing items. At first, I didn't know what to expect when I saw this skirt on their website. I thought it was too pretty for its price, and wondered if it would be one of those products that shows a certain way on pictures and is completely different in person (which has happened to me several times with other online stores). The skirt was surprisingly really well-made, and the material feels as soft as cotton candy!

The fabric is strong enough to last you for years, but soft enough to want to sleep in it (serious). I also really like its length. I love that it is longer in the back and shorter in the front. I have a little bit of a problem with ordering skirts and dresses online. They are sometimes so short on me that I have to keep pulling them down when I walk.

If you're form the U.S. and are looking for what to wear on the 4th of July, check out The Classic Brand. They have everything you need for Independence day. Some of my favorites are: shorts (thesethese and these), tanks (this and this), this sweater, and this vest

You can also pair your 4th of July outfit with these American Girl Hair Ties by Kitsch (Use code: FIREWORK for 20% off)!

I hope you found this post helpful! I should have shared those 4th of July ideas on my last post, but it's still not too late!

first days of summer

Hi guys!

A lot of really important events have been going on in my life, so I hadn't been able to shoot or post. Now that things are almost back to normal, I'll be able to post more. I have so many things to show you, it's overwhelming.

I am over the top excited to post about this dress from AKA. I have been following AKA for a while now and am obsessed with their summer dresses, and their whole summer collection (which you can view here). You'll see everything from spaghetti straps, to low/open backs, to crop tops and high waisted skirts. So, everything you can imagine in the perfect summer wardrobe, they have.

This dress is so light, it keeps you fresh during a warm summer day, and it's perfect for transitioning from day to night.

I thought this necklace by Kitsch was the cherry on top to this outfit. It's really simple, but still adds a statement to any look. I wear it all the time. Check out their site, they have great accessories at affordable prices. These stackable rings are only $9!

I missed you guys!

How have your first days of summer been? Are you doing anything exciting?

blue is the color of all that I wear

I've been really into pastel colors this season. Everything in a pink or blue pastel tone just makes my heart melt. They remind me of cotton candy and clouds. Sweet and calm. There's something very relaxing about those hues.

When I first saw this dress by Lavish Alice I thought it was so breathtakingly beautiful. It's just ideal for spring/summer. The blue pastel tone and the crop-top high-waisted skirt design are pure perfection. I can't describe it any other way. I am absolutely in love with it.

Everything in Lavish Alice is amazing! I would have also loved to have paired this dress with these white sandals from their store. Check out their swimsuits too! I am crazy about their one-piece powder blue low-back frill swimsuit.

You must remember me wearing accessories from Tiny Box on older posts. I finally had the chance to wear these earrings and am glad I did with this dress.

Let me know what you guys think!
