star-fish

This was the hardest shoot I've had to select pictures to post about. I wanted to include every single picture I took during this trip... and as good as these may look, they really don't do the real experience any justice.

Can you imagine arriving at a beach and seeing star-fish all around the place? I have seen star-fish at the aquarium before, but being at a beach where you have to watch out not to step on any star-fish, that's a whole different experience.

These pictures were taken at Playa Estrella in Bocas del Toro, Panama.

fruity pattern swimsuit: Diaro

The swimsuit I wore is from Diaro and designed by me. I was looking for an assorted fruit pattern swimsuit and couldn't find any. I could only find pineapple swimsuits, strawberry swimsuits, or watermelon swimsuits, but never swimsuits that had several fruits. So I started looking for a store that would allow me to make one.

Diaro is a Hungarian online store where you can design your own pattern and make a swimsuit/skirt/dress/leggings with it. I loved mine so much that I used it as a crop top with shorts and pants!

Oh, and you can request my fruity pattern if you liked it too!

I hope you enjoy these pictures <3

volcanic spring waters

As you may know from Instagram, I have been in Panama for the past two weeks.

I don't have a lot of time to write this post, but I want to show you some pictures I took last week. There is a beautiful town in Panama called Boquete (if you haven't been, definitely google it), where I staid for some days. Some minutes away and really into the woods are some volcanic spring waters.

The pictures you will see on this post are from the way to the spring waters, and one of the spring water ponds I went into. The water from the specific pond you see on these pictures was 38C (100F), and contained sulfur, so it was good for the skin. There were some next to it that were even hotter. I walked out with skin feeling like a baby.

retro swimsuit: Red Dolly Swimwear

I love love love the swimsuit I wore on this trip! I can honestly say that it has been on my "swimsuit wishlist" for over two years. I love that it can be retro, classic, and sexy all at the same time. It makes your body look great!

I am usually into two-piece swimsuits. This was my first time wearing a one-piece swimsuit since I was five years old, and couldn't be happier with the outcome. I want more!

I also loved this yellow swimsuit from Red Dolly Swimwear.

I can't wait to show you some other pictures from my trip to Panama!

polka dotted girl

These pictures are from Boston, back when I had long hair (last week). Yep, I got a short haircut. Really. I like it so much, I'm pretty sure I won't be letting it grow for a long long time (AKA never again).

I had been wanting to take pictures at my friend's house for as long as I can remember. The living room's wall if full of mirrors and there are weird/cool details in every corner of the house. Luckily, my friend was able to capture some of these spots on the pictures he took.

That second picture reminds be of Willow Smith!

I won't be able to post as often as I would like to. I didn't have any Internet access last week and don't know if I will from now until I go back to Boston. I'll be posting whenever I get a chance though. I promise you'll see my summer pictures at some point!

I hope you guys are having an amazing summer :)

the epitome of summer

In my mind, when I picture summer, I see a mix of neons and bright colors, popsicles, water fountains, kids in scooters, laughs, colorful sunsets, and beaches. I want to express that through my summer posts, and so far I haven't done quite the job. So let's start from here...

The swimsuit I am wearing on this pictures is from the 80's, and I found it on a vintage boutique called Dotto. It is the epitome of summer: hot pink, low back, and mesh on top. The swimsuit alone spoke for itself, so I paired it with clear accessories. You know how much I love clear!

Also, the cuff is not the typical thin clear cuff that you'll find at a local store. What caught my attention was its thickness. And the ring, I just can't get over it. I top it off with knuckle rings and it looks amazing!

pink maillot: Dotto, shorts: UO, sandals: Report, clear cuff and ring: Lake Yacht Club, pink chain knuckle ring: Tiny Box

I am going back home this week (to Venezuela)! Can't wait to take pictures there and show you guys!

Love you!

blank

Summer in Boston is extremely hot (which I'm sure I've mentioned several times), so I've been looking for white and light clothes. I realized I didn't own any short white dresses and went "window shopping" on the Internet when I found the dress I'm wearing on this post, from Galalabel.

I love dresses that aren't too short. I like being able to have the flexibility of transforming them into short dresses by adding a belt, or just using them the way they are. They can look like two different pieces.

This dress, especially, is more on the dressy side, but I think it can also look completely casual with a belt.

white dress: Galalabel, bag: vintage Chanel (used to be my mum's), shoes: vintage YSL, rings: Tiny Box, triangle necklace: Bea's Jewels, pizza nail decal: Sokay Designs

I scored these vintage YSL shoes at an antique shop in Newport. They are the best thrifted/antique/vintage acquisition I have!

Don't you just love thrifting?
