cinco de mayo

Hey guys!

I am posting today just in case you needed some Cinco de Mayo inspiration. This is my take on a modern Cinco de Mayo outfit: a Frida Kahlo printed sweatshirt, a flower crown, some sort of a clear colorful clutch, distressed denim, and espadrille platforms.

If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen me wearing this flower crown from Crowned By Flowers. I am in love with its white and lilac shades. I'm going to be wearing this so much during spring!

I am also going to be wearing these shorts from Articles of Society A LOT. They are extremely comfortable and were even named "Jean of the Month" by Nylon Magazine on their May issue. It feels very cool to try them on!

Whenever I walk around, I keep an eye open for beautiful views/houses/walls/streets. Little details like those just make my day.

This house has caught my attention for quite a while. It has a little sign that says it's a historic building, which makes it even more interesting. I love its vibrant color, and the red tulips that recently flourished in its front yard.

I hope you guys like these pictures and Cinco de Mayo ideas!

Thank you for all your comments. You make me so happy!

pinkest sugar and blackest spice flower crown

Quick post before I head to Phantom Gourmet Beach Party. I thought this flowery post would be a  perfect ending to an awesome weekend and a great beginning to a new week.

This flower crown seems so real that it gets lost amongst the rest in the bushes. It is so feminine that you don't need to wear any make-up with it and look super chic. I added some red lips to make the scene a little more romantic.

Didn't have much time to write this post, but I hope you enjoy the pictures!

crowned by flowers

We had spring for about 3 weeks (pretty much), and it seems to now be summer in Boston. The weather only keeps getting hotter and hotter. SO hot that yesterday, for the first time, I went into the water in a Boston beach. I usually just go to the beach here to sunbathe because these waters are too cold for what I grew up with. If you have been to a beach in the Caribbean, then you know what I'm talking about ;)

These pictures were taken in Malibu Beach. The view was perfect to show you my new flower crown, which was in beautiful contrast against the background. I paired it with a white swimsuit, clear sandals, a jelly beans clear clutch, and of course some pink and purple midi rings

flower crown: Crowned by Flowers, rings: Tiny Box, jelly beans clutch: We Were Warriors, sandals: BCBG, swimsuit: somewhere online

Isn't that a gorgeous flower crown? Can't wait to read your comments on it!
