bathtub series: skies

Hi guys!

It had been a while since I wanted to do a bathtub shoot. I had seen some on Pinterest and Instagram and felt inspired by them. I wanted to grab the idea and give it my own twist. There is nothing better than wanting to create something special and see it come to life, and even exceed your expectations.

I had been exploring the idea with other photographers, but it wasn't until I met Melissa, that I felt confident this project would come out great. I don't think I need to explain how talented this girl is. You just have to see for yourself :)

This BlackMilk swimsuit is one of my favorites. I wear it as a top as well, and it definitely catches a lot of attention. I love the sky and grass detail on it. The colors are just so bright and beautiful. I wear it during fall with dark jeans and a leather jacket, and in spring/summer with lighter things. It just has so much potential.

I am also loving my Beyond The Stars Y necklace. The clear rock detail is so minimal and clean. It goes well with anything. I've been wearing it a lot, as you can see from my past posts.

the epitome of summer

In my mind, when I picture summer, I see a mix of neons and bright colors, popsicles, water fountains, kids in scooters, laughs, colorful sunsets, and beaches. I want to express that through my summer posts, and so far I haven't done quite the job. So let's start from here...

The swimsuit I am wearing on this pictures is from the 80's, and I found it on a vintage boutique called Dotto. It is the epitome of summer: hot pink, low back, and mesh on top. The swimsuit alone spoke for itself, so I paired it with clear accessories. You know how much I love clear!

Also, the cuff is not the typical thin clear cuff that you'll find at a local store. What caught my attention was its thickness. And the ring, I just can't get over it. I top it off with knuckle rings and it looks amazing!

Right when we thought the snowy days were over, a snow storm popped out of nowhere! With only two more days of winter, spring feels so far away... On the brighter side of things, what better background for pictures than snow?

This is a gorgeous swimsuit/bodysuit I got last year so that I could use it at the beach, back home, over the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately, I didn't even go to the beach. For some reason ever since I bought it I have pictured myself wearing it during snowy days. I think the colors make a perfect contrast with the snow.

I couldn't fully show the bodysuit details if I wore pants. But, why would anyone wear this with pants anyway? It's too pretty to be ruined.
